L’Heure Maathi at the hotel Sezz Saint-Tropez: craftsmanship, resort wear and fine fragrances — summer 2026
Published in Sezz St Tropez
If you're wondering what to do at sunset on the Riviera or which sensory experience will be the most exclusive of summer 2026 in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the answer lies in the gardens of the Sezz.
From 17th June 2026, Hôtel Sezz Saint-Tropez welcomes L'Heure Maathi, an exclusive collaboration with MAATHI, a Parisian house specialising in craft, travel and haute parfumerie.
Every Friday at 6pm, in the gardens of the Sezz, a sunset presentation brings together hand-woven silk holiday wear, artisanal fragrances in world première and a signature cocktail, all in an intimate format, open to everyone, no reservation required.
At a glance:
Dates: 17th June to 30th August 2026

What is l’Heure Maathi?
L'Heure Maathi is an exclusive sensory experience, conceived as a weekly gathering open to all, free of charge, no reservation needed. From 17th June to 30th August 2026, MAATHI takes up residence in the gardens of the Sezz to offer an intimate encounter built around three distinct worlds.
The resort wear: pieces in ripe silk, hand-woven by artisans, with fluid lines designed for the holidays
Artisanal haute parfumerie: fragrances unveiled in world première, several months before their official launch in September 2026. Creations you will find nowhere else before autumn.
The MAATHI signature cocktail: a fragrance-led cocktail designed to evoke the faraway lands that inspire the house.
In the space of an hour, you touch artisanal silk, you smell fragrances no one else yet knows, and you hold a cocktail that smells of Goa.
This discreet, reservation-free format makes L'Heure Maathi one of the most unique fashion and craft experiences of summer 2026 on the French Riviera.
The Sunset Ritual : what happens every Friday at 6pm?
Every Friday at 6pm, as the golden light begins to fall over Pampelonne, the gardens of the Sezz welcome a MAATHI sunset presentation. An intimate format, limited to 12 to 15 people. No reservation necessary.
The Friday sunset presentations attract both guests staying at the Sezz and visitors passing through the Côte d'Azur in search of a more understated experience than the traditional beach clubs of Saint-Tropez. L'Heure Maathi is a different way to live the Riviera lifestyle.
Over the course of an hour, guests discover:
the new artisanal silk pieces from the MAATHI collection, presented in a relaxed atmosphere conducive to trying things on,
the house's haute parfumerie fragrances, available exclusively at the Sezz until September 2026. A world première, in a slow luxury setting on the Riviera.
the MAATHI signature cocktail, inspired by the house's fragrances and designed to extend the experience.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings, a more in-depth fragrance experience is offered around a sunset cocktail. It is reserved for hotel residents. A scent pairing session is also available by invitation.
As night falls, guests discover MAATHI fragrances around the Sezz pool, whilst a signature cocktail inspired by the scents of Goa accompanies the presentation. It is one of the most singular summer evenings in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
For Sezz residents: an experience that begins on arrival
For guests staying at the hotel, L'Heure Maathi begins the moment they arrive. A Love Note, slipped into the suite or discovered by chance in a quiet corner of the hotel, marks the beginning of the experience.
Residents then enjoy privileged access to:
private fittings during the week, in a calm and discreet setting, by appointment,
direct delivery to the suite within 24 hours for chosen pieces,
a complimentary digital styling session offered after departure, available to a selection of guests, to extend the connection with the house long after your stay on the Riviera.
Picture this: you arrive in your suite and a small handwritten note is waiting for you. It invites you for Friday evening. On Thursday, you choose a silk piece during a private fitting in a quiet corner of the design hotel. It is delivered to your suite the following morning. That is slow luxury, à la tropézienne.
MAATHI : who is this Parisian house ?
The red earth of Goa, the fine sand of the beaches of Pampelonne… two worlds that everything separates, and that L'Heure Maathi brings together, for the length of a summer.
MAATHI is a house founded around craft, travel and haute parfumerie. Its name means "Earth" in Konkani, the language of Goa — the region that inspires much of its work.
The house works with artisanal textiles: noble materials hand-woven by craftspeople. It creates accessories in keeping with local traditions, and develops fragrances inspired by faraway landscapes. Each piece is the result of a savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation.
Hôtel Sezz Saint-Tropez, a five-star design hotel, is MAATHI's first international residence. The two houses share the same vision of luxury: discreet, sensory and rooted in quality.
If you are looking for a fashion experience on the Côte d'Azur beyond the major labels, if you are drawn to rare pieces that tell a story, MAATHI is precisely what you are looking for.
Maathi Roots : when luxury gives something back
Throughout the summer, each Sunset Ritual contributes to the Maathi Roots project: the creation of a micro-orchard of cashew groves in Goa, in direct response to local deforestation. A tangible commitment that connects Saint-Tropez to India.
By attending a sunset presentation at the Sezz, every visitor takes part in this project. It is one of the most compelling dimensions of luxury travel today: a sensory experience that leaves a positive mark.
