Breakfast and brunch in Saint-Tropez: start the day at Sezz
Published in Sezz St Tropez
In Saint-Tropez, the morning can begin far from the bustle of the harbour, over breakfast by the pool or a leisurely Sunday brunch lasting into the early afternoon.
At Hôtel Sezz Saint-Tropez, breakfast and brunch are available to both hotel guests and outside visitors. An address to remember for breakfast in Saint-Tropez without necessarily staying at the hotel.
1 October, International Coffee Day, is a good opportunity to talk about this special time of day. But at Sezz, the morning begins well before coffee.
It starts with a choice: your room, private terrace or poolside terrace? Breakfast from 7:30 am or Sunday brunch at 11:30 am? Benedetti organic juice or Lavazza coffee?
These small, unhurried decisions are what give mornings at Sezz their distinctive texture.
Where can you have breakfast or brunch in Saint-Tropez?
Hôtel Sezz Saint-Tropez, located on Route des Salins, offers two distinct experiences: a breakfast buffet every morning from 7:30 am to 10:30 am, and brunch two Sundays a month from 11:30 am to 2 pm.
Both are open to outside visitors by reservation.

Breakfast in Saint-Tropez: the Sezz buffet from 7:30 am
Between 7:30 am and 10:30 am, Sezz has a special atmosphere.
The first guests arrive, the light is still soft, and the buffet has just been laid out. It is one of the quietest moments of the day.
For Audrey, breakfast supervisor, the morning begins well before the first guests arrive.
“I usually arrive at 6 am, and my team arrives at 6 or 7 am. We set everything up so that it is ready at 7:30 am, when breakfast begins.”
Setting up the buffets, laying the tables, checking and polishing the tableware: everything is prepared before opening. In the kitchen, one team member is dedicated to the hot buffet.
The result should seem simple and natural once the first guests are seated. Yet behind this apparent simplicity, several hours of preparation have already gone by.
Can you have breakfast at Sezz without staying at the hotel?
Yes.
Breakfast at Sezz Saint-Tropez is open to outside visitors at a rate of €55 per person.
It is served every morning from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. For guests staying at the hotel, breakfast is included.
There is therefore no need to book a room at Sezz to enjoy breakfast there: simply reserve your table.
An appealing option before heading to the beaches or starting a day in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
A good coffee, a generous buffet, and the day begins differently.
What can you find at breakfast at Sezz Saint-Tropez?
Breakfast is organised around several stations, allowing you to create your ideal morning according to your preferences: cold dishes, hot dishes, pastries and drinks.
The cold buffet
Salads, bagels, salmon, cold cuts and other savoury options sit alongside sweet treats.
A buffet that invites you to choose rather than rush.
The hot buffet and eggs
Eggs hold a special place among morning requests.
Scrambled, fried or soft-boiled: Audrey explains that they are among the dishes most frequently requested by guests.
The hot buffet completes the offering with the day’s selections.
Pastries, breads and sweet treats
Bread, cakes, madeleines, jams, fruit and pastries make up the more traditional side of breakfast.
Among them, the almond croissant is particularly popular with guests.
Coffee, matcha and organic juices: what to drink for breakfast?
Americano, espresso, cappuccino, latte, matcha, hot chocolate, teas and herbal infusions accompany the buffet.
Juices are supplied by Maison Benedetti, a Provençal family business whose expertise in fruit and vegetables dates back to 1948.
The coffee served at Sezz is by Lavazza. The choice of coffee reflects the same attention given to the products served in the morning.
Ultimately, coffee is only a detail.
But mornings are made up precisely of details.
Brunch in Saint-Tropez: two Sundays a month at Sezz
From 11:30 am onwards, the experience changes.
Brunch at Sezz is not simply a later breakfast. It is designed as a meal in its own right, served two Sundays a month, from 11:30 am to 2 pm.
More generous buffets, composed plates and sharing dishes transform breakfast into a true Sunday lunch.
For outside visitors, brunch is offered at €95 per person.
For hotel guests, it is available at €45 per person and replaces morning breakfast. The two services cannot be combined.
What is the difference between breakfast and brunch at Sezz?
The difference lies first in the timing, but above all in the abundance and variety of the offering.
Audrey, breakfast supervisor, sums it up this way:
“Brunch is breakfast, but with even more choice.”
The cold buffet is more extensive, with both savoury and sweet options. The hot buffet also includes dishes not usually served at breakfast: vegetables, meat, fish or starches.
On certain Sundays, brunch also offers the opportunity to meet the Chef when they come to serve directly at the hot buffet. Additional offerings, such as waffles, may complete the experience.

Brunch on a terrace in Saint-Tropez, overlooking the pool
The plate is only one part of the experience.
The breakfast and brunch dining room opens onto a terrace overlooking Sezz’s 200 m² pool and Mediterranean gardens.
Palm trees, olive trees and Provençal vegetation accompany the first hours of the day.
In the morning, the light still falls gently over the gardens. The hotel is close to the centre of Saint-Tropez while remaining away from its bustle.
This location is what gives breakfast and brunch part of their character: being in Saint-Tropez without yet feeling that the Tropezian day has truly begun.
Breakfast in your room or on your private terrace
For guests staying at Sezz, mornings can also remain entirely private.
Breakfast can be served directly in your room or on your private terrace.
A tray delivered, the Saint-Tropez sky above, your own garden all around you.
But personalisation is not limited to where breakfast is served.
Audrey explains:
“What I like most about the morning service is the personalisation. Whether they are regular guests or people we are getting to know for the week, we try to remember their preferences: food, drink, time, table.”
As the stay unfolds, these habits become familiar points of reference. A table, a coffee, the way eggs are cooked.
The service gradually adapts to the guest, rather than the other way around.
