Saint Tropez Celebrates the 23rd Paradis Porsche

Paradis Porsche is back for another year. This stylish event sees members of the Porsche community gather for a weekend in the famous Var village to exhibit or admire the most beautiful and exclusive cars. The Sezz Saint Tropez invites you to participate in this exciting event organised by the Porsche Club Méditerranée on 8th and 9th October, 2016. More than 500 cars from the famous German brand are expected to gather in the harbour car park, including many iconic models.

Back on a mythical rally

Paradis Porsche was born in May 1993 when a handful of members of the newly formed club "911 Méditerranée" decided to organise a Porsche rally in Saint-Tropez. The goal? Gather together fans of the brand to pay homage to unique cars designed by the German luxury car manufacturer. The gathering eventually found a permanent place in the annual calendar of Saint-Tropez - the second week of October. The first edition of Paradis Porsche was held on October 10th, 1993 with nearly 180 crews showing cars ranging from the 356 to the iconic 964 RS. Apart from a break in 1996, the event has taken place each year. The last gathering in 2015 had the theme, "the Porsche 911 coupe Type G" and celebrated models produced from 1974-1989.

A white paradise 2016

The largest annual gathering dedicated to Porsches will see enthusiasts arriving from near and far. The unique theme for 2016 is "white". This evocative colour is forever associated with Eddy Barclay, the famous music producer and organiser of ‘white nights’, an event that attracted the international jet set as well as the composer’s friends to St. Tropez. To add extra glamour and zest, ‘White’ Porsche participants are invited to adopt the white dress code on Sunday morning.

Your programme

The programme for this glamorous weekend begins on Saturday, October 8th with driving sessions on the Provencal du Luc circuit, a tourist rally in the Var countryside and a gala evening at the Caves du Roy. Sunday will feature, among other events, the highly anticipated parade in the port of Saint-Tropez.  The parade will be followed by the awards ceremony and a second closing gala at the Caves du Roy.
