This year, the famous regatta is changing its format, with a longer duration of two weeks and a new event for larger modern and classic craft. The Voiles de Saint-Tropez programme
This year, for the first time, the Voiles de Saint-Tropez will take place in two stages. The first week, from September 26th to October 3rd, welcomes boats up to 24 metres in length. The awards ceremony takes place on the evening of Saturday, October 3rd. The second week, from October 5th to 9th, features what are referred to as Le Voiles Super Boats tackling demanding new courses. The awards ceremony takes place on the evening of Friday, October 9th. Passenger boats, including the famous Bateaux Verts, will follow the competing yachts - with a commentator on board.
An exceptional rendezvous featuring nearly 300 craft
As it does every year, faithful to the regatta tradition, the Voiles de Saint-Tropez will welcome modern as well as classic seagoing craft. The first week, some 250 will take part in the race. The second week will bring plenty of Super Boat action, featuring between 30 and 50 larger craft competing in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Among them, you can look forward to seeing Wallys, J Class and three-masters, plus IRC1 Loro Piana competitors and the Maxi and Super Maxi group of the IRCA, as well as the grandes goélettes and great schooners of the Schooners class.
